An Imaginary Dialogue Between Rumi and Clarke
by Medine GÜL
"Philosophers are reminders of humanity; they are the reminders of what human beings are and what life is about. Once you start to travel between the sentences from one philosopher to another you will see the very similarity in their information which comes from one source and all of them tell us that we, human beings, we are the treasure of life and we are way beyond powerful than we can imagine. They tell us that we are the creator. We are the god and We need to create our true selves. We need to be re born from ourselves….
Rumi asked And You? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?
And he said:
"No mirror ever became iron again;
No bread ever became wheat;
No ripened grape ever became sour fruit.
Mature yourself and be secure from a change for the worse.
Become the light."
Clarke said:
"It may be that our role on this planet is not to worship God--but to create him."
And he adds:
"It may be that the old astrologers had the truth exactly reversed, when they believed that the stars controlled the destinies of men. The time may come when men control the destinies of stars.
Each of us, no matter where we come from, no matter what culture we are born into, no matter what language we speak,
We are all born into the very same system that I call the web of ego.
This system turns our heaven into hell by using politics, religion, and media;
It turns human beings into robotic beings and makes them kill each other just to gain power and control all around the world.
The only weapons are love and compassion to fight the web of Ego.
Once we are awake and our hearts are fully open we become free from the system , then we become love, then we become a creator....
And, if we don’t soon wake up from the web of Ego, we will pay the consequences’ badly Clarke summaries this as;
We are just tenants on this world. We have just been given a new lease and a warning from the landlord.
And he says:
Politics and religion are obsolete; the time has come for science and spirituality.
I regard that as my guiding light."
Here is what Rumi said:
"If your guidance is your ego, don't rely on luck for help. You sleep during the day and the nights are short. By the time you wake up your life may be over."
And he continued:
"Come on sweetheart
let's adore one another
before there is no more
of you and me."
The Question is:
"Is it really possible to awaken ourselves from the web of Ego?
Can we stay positive?
And, can we stay full of love?
While we run in our daily life covered full of struggles, war, drugs, smoke, foods
with chemicals, negativity, hate ,anger
which are provided to us by the system we born into..."
Once again Clarke has answers to this:
He says
"I'm beginning to think the unthinkable"
And he continues:
"When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong.
So Yes,
It’s very possible to wake up from the web of Ego into being love into being a creator We just need to be quick before it’s too late for our lifetime
Rumi said:
"No end, no end to the journey
no end, no end never
become the sky
take an axe to the prison wall,
escape
walk out like someone
suddenly born into color
do it now..
He also said:
He is a letter to everyone.
You open it.
It says, 'Live!'"
