Whenever
I run into a bird in the forest searching for the nest,
I
think of your voice.
Whenever
I see a light beam, neutralizing the time and the space,
I
think of your arms.
Then, my heart becomes a historic stone.
And
I think of your hands.
My
soul is dissolved in the desert of love.
I think
of drinking from your spring.
Whenever
I see an ancient monument,
I
think of you as the cornerstone.
Nature
is beautiful.
The
earth is beautiful.
Just
like water, you are so pure.
Just
like a long poem, you are so universal!
The
trees, leaves, fruits and seeds are beautiful.
Just
as the science of all sciences, you are so alchemical!
Then
I think of your name.
Whenever
I am like a bad boy, imagine, smoking a cigar in the torrentials of
the continent;
I
think of inhaling your breath.
Whenever
I have an inspiration,
You
come to me as if you are so elemental to my existence sip-by-sip.

APPRENTICESHIP
*By Suleyman Ari*
Where
writing is, there you are;
Where
you are, there may or may not be writing.
In
the subatomic particles of my fabric, there you are as all the threads.
I
read the constitution of love,
There
you are law-by-law.
I
past through the river of its philosophy,
Saw
the beauties of lilies, ivies and the reflection;
There
you are in the sound of the water reflecting your smile.
I
entered the garden of fruits.
I
felt that there you are as the nectar of mind and soul.
I
visualized the chemistry of your body on the faces of these fruits as an
elegant invitation.
You
are with fruits,
Without
you, fruits are dry.
Without
you, I am thirsty.
Rivers
are shallow.
The
rain is drying and the sun is freezing.
I
became the philosopher,
There
you are as the ontology of joy and happiness;
There
you are as the epicentre of inspiration.
I
became a doctor and saw the wounded hearts;
There
you are as the remedy.
I
became a perfumer;
There
you are in the bottle of love.
The colour of spring is yours;
The colour of winter is your absence.
I
smell your scent in the leaves and purple of lilac.
I
became a painter;
I
drew the image of my soul;
There
you are layer-by-layer.
Everywhere I go, there you are inch-by-inch.
I
became a blind lover,
There
you are light-by-light.
I
became a warrior,
There
you are hitting my soul bullet-by-bullet.
Don't
go too far Dear Baby,
You
don't need to look for yourself at distant geometries;
You
look for your remarks inside myself.
Whenever Looking at the hope of the sun,
It
is deep in the clouds;
There
you are on its first shine.
I
entered the world of mathematics,
I
saw you in the harmony of numbers.
I
became a numbersmith and counted your words
letter-by-letter.
I
became a wordsmith and wrote the poem;
Here
you are in my blind eyes vibrating through my whole existence
verse-by-verse.
Whatever
may be the reasons, regardless, Conclusions, analogies, deduction
and induction; all is the same:
I loved you once and for all
as a lovesmith as well as a child of Love.
