publication of our New Year-2004 issue, as well as to
ring in the New Year with a special screening of two shows
from The Light Millennium 2003 TV series, produced by
Bircan Ünver.

first Istanbul bureau chief, on book launching events
in New York in October 2001.

Woman, p.1
Based on the poetry event of the same title, experience a special
evening of poetry and peace lovers in New York. Participants
of the program (in order of appearance): Bircan
ÜNVER, Omer ONHON, Buket SAHIN, Marco POENTE,
Ugur UGURAL, Ali KAHYA, Sule ÜLGEN, Ilhan MIMAROGLU,
Güngor MIMAROGLU, Robby THOMPSON & Feray GIRGIN.

There will be an open microphone after the screenings.
Please bring in your favorite poems on love and
hope so we can celebrate the upcoming year together. Each
poem's length should be limited to a page with no larger
than 12 font. You must send your selected poems
to: contact@lightmillennium.org by December 14,
2003.

participation. Thank you.)
There will be a maximum of 15 poems to be read after the screenings.

Programs

The
Light Millennium Television - LMTV - series was launched
by Bircan Ünver in January 2000 at Queens Public Television
(http://www.qptv.org / channels# 34, 35, 56 & 57)
as a monthly series. The television series was incorporated
under the umbrella of The Light Millennium on July 17,
2001 within the structure of a not-for-profit organization.
The Light Millennium holds a 501 ( c ) (3) status effective
since July 17, 2001. The programs have been produced for
public benefit, and do not contain any commercials.
LMTV
series seeks sponsors for its upcoming programs, as well
as to expand its broadcasting locations in New York, and
