Light Millennium TV Series
(monthly “LMTV”) has been
airing on Queens Public TV (http://www.qptv.org)
since January 2000, which launched,
and has been producing by Bircan
ÜNVER. The programs highlighting
individual issues such as literacy/poetry,
art & artists', UN-NGO Profiles,
peace, freedom of speech and global
concerns..
The first part of the LMTV taping will
be celebrating RUMI's 800th Birthday
as the “2007-International Rumi
Year” which was declared by
UNESCO in March 2006. Participants of
the program will read from Rumi's work
related to RUMI's poetry and philosophy.
The second part of the taping aims to
celebrate the 7th Anniversary of
LMTV Series. Aamir SADIQ will
be conducting an interview with the
producer of the series. There will be
a Q & A session follow by the interview.
LMTV is under the umbrella of
the Light Millennium organization, a
501 (c) (3) charitable public benefit
organization whose mission is to provide
an international platform for the free
expression of ideas and experiences
in order to foster a global connection
among all people.
