A place she can always go to is in the studio where the spirit moves her it is a place of great passion and compassion for the world within which she creates is mystical and a smoke inhibits the entrance of any other but herself to really invoke the work that needs to come forth. The materials come from nature and the structure of which is composed from another world which she has created from a real union with the fibers and materials There are traces of nature in the relief yet the quality is imbued with an essence as though it could be used in a ritual, a dance that comes from a farther place that is yet recognized within her as though she has really kept in touch with the ancients.
When she a child she recalls the countryside in Turkey where she was raised, having an early esthetic conscious of the organic, the dirt, stones and wood as though time had left a, a history, a life in them. Teachers left no influence on her, she was more concerned and aware of the touch of the materials as though a life could be reawakened.
