"A CREDIBLE PATHWAY TO SUSTAINABLE PEACE"

PHOTO ALBUM II
The 7th UN HLF on the CULTURE OF PEACE - Afternoon Session

"Friendship to all and malice towards none"- this foreign policy motto of Bangladesh entails why Bangladesh has been a proponent of the Culture of Peace since long. In his maiden and only statement at the UN General Assembly in 1974, our Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had said, "Peace is an imperative for the survival of mankind; it represents the deepest aspiration of men and women throughout the world."
–– Statement by H.E. Mr. Md. Shahriar Alam, MP, Hon'ble State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, delivered at the General Debate of the UN High Level Forum on the Culture of Peace on September 5, 2018.

“Each of us as a pixel in a big picture, we can contribute towards creating the big picture on the culture of peace.
