KAZAKHSTAN: UNITED FOR GLOBAL SECURITY - UN Photo Exhibit - Opened April 28, 2016

Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations opened an exhibit at the United Nations Head Quarters in the Vienna Cafe area, which titled, "KAZAKHSTAN: UNITED FOR GLOBAL SECURITY" on April 28, 2016.

April 18, 2016 dated General Assembly Seventieth session, Agenda item 97, "General and complete disarmament", H.E. Mr. Kairat Abdrakhmanov, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the United Nations, delivered and signed a document, which indicates the following: "Kazakhstan has been fully committed to nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation and nuclear security since the first day of its independence."

The photo exhibit presents the "dismantled nuclear weapons process of Kazakstan". Taking from that point, and with a specific goal, Kazakstan is championing for A NUCLEAR FREE WORLD, and a nominee for the 2017-2018 term "Temporary Member" States category to the Security Council of the United Nations.

This album aims to bring you some details on this very critical issue from the Kazakhstan - UN photo exhibit in order to spread out the word of the overall message of the exhibit towards "A Nuclear Free World.

The photos were literally taken as snap shots based on how they are presented over the panels without any professional claim or copyright concern.

Special Thanks to: H.E. Kairat Abdrakhmanov, Ambassador, Permanent Rep. of Kazakhstan to the UN;
Mr. Barlybay Sadykov, Deputy Permanent Rep. of Kazakhstan to the UN;
and
to the photographer and staff of the Mission of Kazakhstan for the photos, in which, I am with H.E. Abdrakhmanov and in front of the photos from the exhibit.
