I'm blue

There's no end in sight

My mind keeps wandering off to the different possibilities that seem to be so

far away and unattainable

Blue

I'm like a satellite, just roaming around space, slow at times and fast at

other times and yet I am all alone in a wide space; I see the planets and the

other many formations but they are so far away I'm stuck roaming around this

little space called earth

Blue

I'm the frosted flake that you are encircling with your spoon, drowning me

inside this sour milk and I can't escape for I am lifeless, I can't protest

Blue

I'm the other side of you: the side of you that reveals itself when there is

fear or embarrassment or anger

Blue

The world is baby pink then pink then tan then beige and then it seems purple

then red then black then red again but beware, for it is never white; the

only white thing in life is death and this has become my motto

Blue

I'm stuck on this shadow of breaths and walks and speeches and senses and

emotions like

Glue

I sing my song,

trapped in my cage

Like a bird with its broken wings,

I yearn to fly...once again

Like I could when I still didn't know so much of the cruelty in this world..

but I realize that, even though my time will come,

and my wings will mend,

and I WILL fly once again,

It will never be the same
