The Light Millennium TV's “Ambassador Profiles: Millennium Development Goals of El Salvador” program focuses on MDG#1 Eradicating Hunger (through bread producing program within education system); MDG#2 Universal Education (full-time free public school program from the 1st to 9th grade, and from 7a.m. to 6pm); and MDG#8 Global and Private Partnerships for Development as well as general development agendas of El Salvador.
El Salvador clearly and effectively sets up a role model in its development progress within last 13 years, in particular, for the developing and least developing countries in the world. In this program, H.E. Ambassador Garcia profiles of El Salvador's achievements through the Millennium Development Goals (MDGS) Action Plan for the 2015.
If you consider that MDGS are solely a UN and government(s) related agenda but not directly aims social and economic development of peoples of the world, and each and every nation, then this program also presents a great example to understand the connection of the UN-MDGS and "peoples and nations development” agenda for the world, which was undertaken through the 2000 Millennium Development Declaration by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
